Identification service of gene transfer position in CHO cell
Multicolor FISH and mapping FISH are combined to identify the chromosome constitution of CHO cells and the integrated position of the target gene gene, such as an antibody. Quality control, such as hot spot search in CHO cells and confirmation of monoclonality, is possible.
The target gene was found to be inserted into the region derived from chromosome 8.
G418 resistance gene was randomly introduced into CHO K1 strain by conventional method, and a clone was established.
We performed mapping FISH on these clones and verified the multicolor image of the parent strain to identify the gene transfer site in detail.
By combining mappingFISH and multicolor FISH, it is possible to clarify whether your clone was established from a single cell or not.
